The number of traffic accidents is high all over the world, including of course the United States and its different cities and highways. For this reason, the number of lawyers specialized in this type of incidents is important, since these legal professionals know the different factors involved in these accidents. In the same way, the consequences of traffic accidents can be equally diverse.

The first to be considered are the injuries and damages, and then the property damage, both of which have negative effects on the lives of the victims of road accidents. Going through a traffic incident is stressful … Read More

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) said Wednesday that he is introducing a resolution to broadly condemn political violence after he faced backlash earlier in the week for warning of potential “bloodshed” if elections “continue to be rigged” while describing the people jailed after allegedly attacking the Capitol on Jan. 6 as “political hostages.”

Cawthorn’s resolution, which is expected to be formally introduced during a House pro forma session later this week, states that “political violence in any form must be condemned” and that “Americans’ political will is expressed at the ballot box through secure and safe elections.”

SACRAMENTO — Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Tuesday night he signed a bill that accelerates the timing of California’s collegiate athlete pay law, making it effective Wednesday instead of in 2023.

THE BEGINNING of September marked the end of America’s 20-year campaign in Afghanistan. It also marked the end of President Joe Biden’s worst month in office. The electorate’s mood had soured on the intervention a long time ago: ending the “forever wars” was a campaign promise both of Mr Biden and of Donald Trump. Even so, many Americans were appalled once the immediate consequences of withdrawal became visible. They included the swift collapse of the Afghan government, the scenes of human tragedy during the evacuation at Kabul airport and the Islamic State Khorasan Province

HB3979, one of the legislative efforts to ban critical race theory in American classrooms, went into effect Wednesday as schools in the Lone Star State continue to be embroiled in debates over mask mandates. While some school districts are waiting for official guidance on what the law means for them, others are making curriculum changes “out of caution.”

The law states that social studies teachers can’t “require” or include in their courses, the concept that “one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex” or the concept that “an individual, by virtue of the individual’s race or … Read More

WASHINGTON — Representative Kevin McCarthy, the House Republican leader, has threatened to retaliate against any company that complies with the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot, after the panel asked dozens of firms to preserve the phone and social media records of 11 far-right members of Congress who pushed to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Mr. McCarthy’s warning was an escalation of his efforts to thwart a full accounting of the deadly attack at the Capitol carried out by a pro-Trump mob, and his latest attempt to insulate the former president and Republican lawmakers from scrutiny of

In Texas, 666 new laws go into effect Wednesday passed by the Republican-led state Legislature in the 2021 regular session. Among them are top conservative priorities passed in other red states around the country this year, but none as big as Texas with more than 29 million residents.

Meanwhile, Texas Democrats have returned

He attempted to shift the focus from the questionable decision-making of the pullout to the broader point that he had ended a war that his three predecessors could not, despite indications that the US project was always going to fail.

How postwar events could still hurt Biden

While the President may prefer to speak about anything else, there are compelling reasons why he should keep an eye on Afghanistan.

The fate of perhaps 100 to 200 Americans who want to leave and were unable to be rescued represent a significant risk for the President. Any deaths or high-profile beatings or
